Candice Bocala is a doctoral student in education policy, leadership, and instructional practice at the Harvard Graduate School of Education. She has facilitated at the Data Wise Summer Institute since 2009, and she currently serves as a program and curriculum assistant for the DataWise project. Her research interests include teamwork and collaboration, new teacher and school leader preparation, school improvement, and social justice in education. Previously, Candice taught elementary school in Washington, DC. She holds a BA in government from Cornell University, an MA in policy analysis and evaluation from Stanford University, and an MAT in elementary education from American University.
